With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pat Escue of Makanda, Illinois, born in Hippo, Kentucky, who passed away on May 28, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leck Bailey and Rose Anne Bailey (Howard); and her son Carl Bailey. She is survived by: her husband Paul Escue of Makanda; her sister-in-law Barbara Escue of Makanda; her grandchildren, Janet Terry (Mike) of California and Carl Bailey Jr. of Florida; her nieces and nephews, Al Yancey (Jeannie) of Carbondale, Danny Yancey of Carbondale, Ernie Escue (Vicki) of Makanda, Tim Yancey (Becky) of Makanda, David Yancey (Charlie Kent) of Carbondale, Lonnie Escue (Jill) of Makanda, Sharlyn Slivinski (Joe) of Portland, Kathy Escue (Sally Niemeyer) of Benton, Debbie Chuck Richardson of Allen and Tina Eckert (Gary) of Vincennes, Indiana; and her pet Granger. She is also survived by 3 great-granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; several great great-grandchildren.
