She was predeceased by: her stepfather Joseph Pirkle; and her grandparents, Clyde and Martha Pittman of Jonesboro, GA.. She is survived by: her husband Dr Terry M Brown; her sister Diane Allen (Scott) of Newnan, GA.; her sister-in-law Tracy Sims (Darin) of Anniston, AL; her niece Kathryn Allen (Jeremy); her nephews, Benjamin Allen (Meredith), Justin Sims (Emily) and Garrett Sims (Kaitlyn); and her mother Barbara Pittman Pirkle. She is also survived by 5 great nephews and 1 great niece, in addition to other friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a local Humane Society in her memory would please her.
