It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill L. Goodman of Makanda, Illinois, born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Goodman and Zola L. Phillips Goodman; his wife Joy B. Elkins of Sulfur, OK.; his daughter Barbara Lay (Keith); his grandson Brandon Lay; and his siblings, Clifford Goodman and Dorothy Blackwell.
He is survived by: his sons, Phil Goodman (Connie) of Jonesboro, IL, Mark Goodman (Kathy) of Paducah, KY, Ron Goodman (Cherie) of Ramsey, IN and Anthony Goodman of Jonesboro, IL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
