She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Derringer and Nellie Derringer; her husband Gene Brookmyer; her daughter Nellie Stevens; her great grandchild Austen Lamb; and her siblings, Billie, Vernon Derringer, Maxine Dutton, Lois Millikan and Gail Brookmyer.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Brookmyer (Tena) of Carbondale, IL and Barbara Lampert (Deneen) of Elizabethtown, IL; her grandchildren, Troy Deming (Andrea), Scott Deming, Bryan Stevens (Beth), Eric Brookmyer, Justin Brookmyer, Lisa Lamb (Corey) and Kristal Deming (Jody); her great grandchildren, Lex, Tucker Deming, Brock Benbrook and Mariah Brookmyer; her sister Geneva Anderson; her son-in-law Bill Stevens; and her sister-in-law Lois Boyd (Charles).
