She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lynn and Florence Clair Mitchell (Johnston); and her children, Cindy McKinney and David Norton. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Barton (Ron), Tracy Wright (Randy) and Jamie Norton; her grandchildren, Christopher Barton (Beth), Amber Combs (Anthony Carson), James McKinney, Sara McKinney, Katie Perry (Michael), D. J. Norton (Rachel), Charles Norton, Austin Wright, Ariel Wright, Alexie Wright, Andrew Norton, Jessica Norton, Ryne Norton and Charlotte Kiddoo Norton; and her siblings, Ross Mitchell (Alfreda), Hume Mitchell (Karen), James Mitchell (Billie), Maxine Barnhart (Lee), Pat Warner (Dick), Avis Milton (Ron) and Pauline Pearce (Earl). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to American Heart Association.
