He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Estes and Dorothy Estes (Asher); his siblings, James, Norman Estes and Lavonne Wright; his son G. Wayne Harvey; his grandson Andrew Davis; his wife Freida Evans Harvey; and his brother Lyndon Estes.

He is survived by: his children, Jackie Harvey Davis (Neal) and Thomas Harvey; his grandchildren, Amanda Harvey Mckee (Matt), Curtis Harvey (Tracy), Jeremy Davis (Brianne), Sarah Davis Castranio (John), Kendall Santucci (Tom) and Lucas Harvey (Leah); his daughter-in-law Susan Harvey; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Dylan Thomas, Jack, River and Rose Castranio.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blair-Owens Funeral Home (102 E Dunbar St, Mahomet, IL 61853). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
