With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John T. Silver of Mahomet, Illinois, born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on May 27, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John T. Silver to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A Silver and Margaret G Silver (Terry); and his wife Margaret E Silver. He is survived by: his children, Scott Silver (Nita Sullivan) of Urbana, Teri Marty of Champaign and Traci Hepburn of Mt Pleasant, SC; his grandchildren, Kip Silver Marty of Champaign, Nicholas Silver Hepburn, Alec Silver Hepburn and Lindsey Silver Hepburn of Mt Pleasant, SC; his siblings, Elinor Miebach and Stephen Silver (Patti); his brother-in-law Raymond Pittman (Betty); and his pet Tommy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Champaign County Humane Society.
