David E. Goethe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David E. Goethe of Mahomet, Illinois, who passed away on January 17, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Suzanne (Compton); and his siblings, Tom and Eleanor (Helwig). He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Andy Goethe (Paula) of Mahomet, IL, Lisa McGinn (Gregg) and Matt Goethe (Tina); his stepchildren, Carl Stiebel (Kim) of Kennesaw, GA and Laura Sherburn (Larry) of New Port Richey, FL; his grandchildren, Cassandra Hart (Kyle), Cameron Goethe, Shannen McGinn, Danny McGinn, Ryan Stiebel, Eric Stiebel and Danielle Stiebel; and his great grandchildren, Kye, Josephine Hart and Jaden Stiebel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dave's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
