He was predeceased by: his parents, William K. Smith and Henrietta Smith (Hattie); and his close friend Tom Gridley. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Mingee; his son Kenneth Smith (Sarah) of Mahomet; and his brother Robert L Smith (Jenny) of Antigo, WI.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blair-Owens Funeral Home (102 E Dunbar St, Mahomet, IL 61853). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
