As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard Ochs and Joyce Ochs (Kapper); his siblings, Elaine Stock (Mel) and Jeff Ochs (Pam); and his children, Alisha Pinnell (Steve), Jeremy Ochs (Dawn) and Zach Ochs (Vicki). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center Mahomet Chapel (1102 Churchill Rd, Mahomet, IL 61853). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center (1102 Churchill Rd, Mahomet, IL 61853).
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials may be made in Alan's name to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
