He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Paul and Phyllis Jean Podabinski, Sr. (Perschall). He is survived by: his wife Rae Ann of Magnolia; his daughters, Tyne Podabinski of Peoria and Kate Holler (Jarrod) of Lacon; his sister Peggy Nance of Astoria; his mother-in-law Emma Harper; and his brother-in-law John Harper.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in his memory to St. Jude.
