He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Mina Schiffner, Sr.; his siblings, Ella Simmons, Fred Schiffner, Jr., Lloyd Schiffner, Linnie Howard and Albert Schiffner; and his daughter Sylvia Schiffner.
He is survived by: his children, Josephine "Jody" Kohnz of Valmeyer, IL, Stella Burgess (Don) of Fults, IL and Frank "Jay" Schiffner of Waterloo, IL; his sister Alberta Wilson of Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Christopher Kohnz (Jennifer) of Valmeyer, IL, Jennifer Schlemmer (Johnathan) of Valmeyer, IL, Heather Woodcock (Mike) of Florida, Amber Kohnz of Valmeyer, IL, Shaina Arivett of Hawaii and Sadie Schiffner of Florida; and his great grandchildren, Lilly Schlemmer, Guin Kohnz, Gavin Kohnz, Mitchell Kohnz, Greta Kohnz, Olivia Arivett, Griffin Kohnz, Amelia Woodcock, Aric Arivett, Charlotte Woodcock and Wyatt Woodcock. He is also survived by his extended family and beloved friends.
