He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Smoltz and Mary Smoltz (Barry); his wife Valerie Grzywacz; and his daughter Sherri Lee Grzywacz. He is survived by: his son Ronald, Jr. Grzywacz (Cindy) of Worden, IL; his stepchildren, Heather Cooley (Justin) of Granite City, Derek Lisac (Tiffany) of Granite City and David Lisac, Jr. of Maryville, IL.; and his grandchildren, Zylie, Zaydn, Josh, Ethan, Justin, Harper, Racelynn, Aydryan, Abby and Hayleigh.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney foundation.
