He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smith and Edna Smith (Mize); and his siblings, Billy Joe Smith and Helen Sellers. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Wayne Smith Jr. (Susan) of Collinsville, IL, John-Paul Smith of Granite City and Samuel Smith of Madison, IL; his grandchildren, Ava, Ella Smith and Caleb Clark; and his sister Joyce Mueller (Ron) of Collinsville.
