Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Naum Riskovsky Sr. of Madison, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 84, on April 7, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Naum Riskovsky and Christine Riskovsky (Atanas); his daughter Judy Riskovsky-Keifer; his grandson Joshua Glaus; and his brother-in-law Troy Powell (Grayson).
He is survived by: his sons, James Riskovsky Jr. (Sue) of O'Fallon, MO and Kristopher Riskovsky (Vanda) of Granite City, IL; his sister Helen Powell of Granite City, IL; his grandchildren, Crystal Glaus (Omar Abdullah), Stephanie Murphy Beyrau (Fred), Jessica Riskovsky Whitehead (Rick), James Naum Riskovsky III and Liliana Riskovsky; his great grandchildren, Arin Murphy (Haley), Ryan Murphy, Jace Murphy, Alayna Marsala, Jaila Moore, Joseph Moore IV, Joy Moore, Immanuel Hampton, Micah Abdullah, Jude Abdullah and Finley Blanche Glaus; his great great grandchild Delilah Murphy; and his caregiver Alpha Meyers of Madison, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given to the Riskovsky family.
