It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence J. Thelen (Madison, Illinois), who passed away on November 30, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard J. "Ben" and Hildagard Catherine Thelen (Schaefer); his former wife Sue A. Floto; and his brothers, Walter Thelen and Arnold Thelen.
He is survived by: his wife Marge Clemens; his children, Consolation Catholic Church, Daniel Thelen (Sue), Steven Thelen (Kimberly), Carolyn Beery (Jim), Brian Thelen (Laura) and Lawrence Thelen (Victoria); his siblings, Gerald Thelen and Kathleen Thelen; and his grandchildren, Melissa Gulya, Laura Schiffner, Gregory Thelen, Jamie Gossard, Robyn Ortega, Caitlin Nakayama, Breana Beery, Andrew Thelen, Matthew Thelen, Lucas Thelen, Gwendolyn Thelen and Julia Thelen. He is also survived by his 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in Clarence's name to Holy Mother of Consolation Music Ministry.
