It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Hilvety of Macon, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hilvety and LaRue Hilvety (Larson). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Horstmann; his daughters, Laura, Vicky and Rhonda Glan (Matthew); his grandchildren, Shanlee, Austin (Johnee), Kara, Grace and Marissa; and his sister Sally Sprague (Willis).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Legion Post #72 or to Macon United Methodist Church.
