She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Taylor and Grace Taylor (Norton); her husband Louis "Pete" Brown; her brothers, Clifford Taylor and Olan Taylor; and her stepgranddaughter Penny Starkey.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Starkey (Jack) of Westville, Diane Hall of Georgetown, Illinois and Michael Brown (Cindy) of Tilton, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jerry Brown of Fort Knox and Brittni Hall of Georgetown, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Addy Grande and Aurora Brown of Homer Glenn, Illinois; her stepgranddaughter Beth Lawson of Catlin, Illinois; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kala Flinn (Kevin) of Bloomfield, Kimberly McCorkle, Kassie McCorkle of Catlin and Bobbi Morris of Perrysburg, Ohio; her grandchild Scarlet Flinn of Bloomfield, Indiana; her sister-in-law Bertha Brosman; and her close friends, Zane Kentner and Amber Braaten. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
