He was predeceased by: his father David Belskamper; his brother Lonnie; and his mother-in-law Donnabelle Stombaugh. He is survived by: his mother Mary Belskamper (Warner); his wife Kim Stombaugh; his children, Morgan Spears (Ryan) of Bloomington, IL and Luke Belskamper (Erika) of Findlay, IL; his granddaughter Madelyn Spears; his sisters, Karen Wilbur (David), Sharon Carlson (Tim) and Julie Baldwin (Dick); his father-in-law Howard Stombaugh; and also, Terry Stombaugh (Sue), Ron Stombaugh (Carol), Brenda Tankersley (Don) and Rick Stombaugh (Denise). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Care Specialists of IL, Macon United Methodist Church, or the South Macon Fire Department.
