She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Stratman and Elizabeth Stratman (Hackman); her husband Paul R. Black; her stepmother Mary C Stratman; her brother Martin Stratman; and her son-in-law Bud Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Black (Connie) of Moweaqua, IL, Dawn Book (Steve Fulscher) of Macon, IL, Marty Black (Lou) of Taylorville, IL, Meribeth Rogers of Macon, IL and Janet Ketchum (Mike) of Springfield, IL; her sister-in-law Marilyn Black of Decatur, IL; and her pet Tippy. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home (971 Prescott Ct, Macon, IL 62544). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
