Ilene Wise Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ilene Wise of Macon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmet Heiter and Gertrude Heiter (Campbell); her son Roger R. Wise; and her children-in-law, Jean Reevis (George), Delmar Heiter (Evelyn), Rosalyn Heiter, Marguerite Jackson (Joe) and Donna Wheeler.
She is survived by: her daughter Donita D. "Dee Dee" McCleary (Bob) of Golconda, IL; her grandchildren, Candis R. McCleary, Alison R. Martinez (Wise), Robert W. McCleary II, Joseph R. Wise-Wiley, Tyler R. Wise and Megan N. Wise; her great grandchildren, Rodney J. and Raemond E. Martinez; and her close friend Sharon Peabody (Kevin). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, cousins, and exceptional friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the Assumption Historical Society, Assumption Public Library, VFW Auxiliary Post 6577, American Legion Post #284, or donor choice.
