He was predeceased by: his parents, George P. Powell and Velda M. Powell (Westermeyer); and his sister Jane Casson (Powell) of Fairbury, IL.. He is survived by: his children, Brett Powell (Angie) of Poplar Bluff, MO, Drew Powell (Ashley Buck) of Carbondale, IL and Jennifer Powell (Dace VanBrooker) of Macomb, IL; his grandchildren, Dakota, Marshall, Madison, Owen and Quinn; and his sister Jorj Ann Higgins (Tom) of Chenoa, IL.. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Mission 22 or American Heart Association.
