He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Schindel and Dorothy Stoneking Schindel; and his sister Ginger Fisher. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Gooden (Steve) of Blandinsville and Jennifer Schindel of Macomb; his granddaughter Cassie Gooden of Macomb; his great grandchild Adalyn Gooden of Macomb; his stepfather Bill Mathena of Macomb; and his stepbrother Gary Mathena of Fandon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
