With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Peters of Macomb, Illinois, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on August 19, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Bell and Doris Nielson Bell; her spouse Merlyn Peters; and her sister Donna Nedved. She is survived by: her children, Edward Sr. Peters (Cathy) of Macomb, Jerry Peters (Dawn) of Colchester, Gene Peters (Sonya) of Macomb and Nancy Brokaw (Ralph Schoonover) of Macomb; and her grandchildren, Edward Jr. Peters (Carrie) of Macomb, Josh Peters (Valerie) of Macomb, Jeremy Peters (Mandi) of Colchester, Angie Comrie of Colchester, Nick Peters (Alex Pena) of Maryland, Sarah Lambert (Dustin) of Macomb and Trey Brokaw (Stephanie) of Manhattan, Kansas. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
