She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Himmel and Mary Himmel (Elliott); her husband Art Chown of Havana, IL.; and her son Tim Chown. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Thompson of Macomb and Jeff Chown of Alexandria, VA; and her grandsons, Austin and Gabriel. She is also survived by one cousin and several nieces and nephews.
