With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry L. Plate of Macomb, Illinois, born in Fulton, Illinois, who passed away on July 19, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Plate and Nona Onion Plate; his son Steve Plate; his granddaughter Shelly Plate Boyles; and his brother Norman Plate.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Leezer (David) of St. Charles, Larry Joe Plate of Niota and Rose Scheetz (Randy) of Carthage; his grandchildren, Susi Plate Boyles (Nick Swartz), Jamie Plate Boyles, Chris Plate, Jared Plate (Brandy), Joshua Plate (Melissa), Elizabeth Pilkington (Andy), Nathan Leezer (Savannah), Krista Carle (Justin), Lezley Anderson (Nick), Paul Scheetz and Dan Scheetz (Bethany); and also Janice Nelson of Tacoma, Washington.. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
