With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Louise Thorman of Macomb, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Ferris and Jenny Foster Ferris; and her in-laws, Dale Ferris (Isabelle), Keith Ferris (Doris), Frank Ferris (Edna), Howard Ferris (Kate) and Joyce Boden (Raymond).
She is survived by: her children, Julie Schwerer (Chris) of Blandinsville, Gene Thorman (Sue) of Macomb, Jeff Thorman of Macomb, Cathy Ackers (Bruce) of Macomb and Jamie Cumbie (Mick) of Macomb; her grandchildren, Leigh Thorman of Macomb, Lyndi Laborn (Jael) of Cibolo, TX, Jared Schwerer (Ashley Leavitt) of Blandinsville, Kimberly Anderson (Michael) of Japan, Caleb Ackers (Bri) of Peoria, IL, Cory Thorman (Brooklin) of Macomb, Jennifer Schwerer of Blandinsville, Jordan Thorman of Seneca, IL and Grace Ackers of Macomb; her great grandchildren, Zander, Zayne Laborn, Kane, Klay Thorman and Isabella Ackers; and her granddaughter Helen.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home (303 E Washington St, Macomb, IL 61455). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (120 N McArthur St, Macomb, IL 61455).
Memorials may be made to Elms Nursing Home or MDH Hospice.
