It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys Lambert of Macomb, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Lambert and Earllean Morgan Lambert; her husband Gary C. Douglas; her daughter Goldie Shallenberger; and her sister Marilyn Price.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carey Douglas (Nick) and Alleyne Fawcett; her grandchildren, Amber Roth (Allen), Gary Fawcett, Mike Fawcett and Nikki Fawcett; her great grandchildren, Elisabeth and Gary Roth; her brothers, Lou Lambert (Christine), Phill Lambert (Chrissy), Marvin and Mike Price; and her close friend Larry Akins.
