Carole P. Lapensohn Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2024, at the age of 80, Carole P. Lapensohn of Macomb, Illinois, born in Charleston, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Petit and Ernestine Petit (Duncan); her spouse Lee B. Lapensohn; and her sister Lois Lockwood. She is survived by: her children, Merrill Cole (Rick Ponce) of Macomb, IL, Kristin Cole of Cairo, Egypt, Scott Lapensohn of Dallas, TX and Rachel Fromal; her nephew Jerry Lockwood; and also, Debbie Lockwood, Allison Kositz and Lockwood Kositz.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Planned Parenthood.
