Betty Jean Buren Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2024, at the age of 94, Betty Jean Buren of Macomb, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kane and Anna "Annie" Myrtle Scofield (Beck); her husband Bill (Bill); and her siblings, Ethel Porter, Iva Myrle Scofield, Audrey Gruner, Claud Scofield and Billy Dean Scofield.
She is survived by: her children, William S. "Rusty" Buren of Cuba, Missouri, Helen "Fran" Long of New Meadows, Idaho, Linda Peacock of San Benito, Texas, Steven Buren of Panama City, Florida, John Buren (Hazel) of Macomb, Illinois and Mary Miller (Carl) of Wendell. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
