She was predeceased by: her daughter Brenda Lou Aten; and her sister Barbara Ugi. She is survived by: her spouse Richard Giles Aten; and her children, Mark of Oxford, MS and Luan of Macomb. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the First Christian Church of Macomb to fund the inevitable purchase of a handicap assessable van.
