It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Shawgo of Mackinaw, Illinois, born in Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L. Shawgo and Alice Nation Shawgo; his brother Robert Shawgo; and his pet Callie. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cremeens; his daughter Michelle (Craig); his friends, Mackinaw, Pam Zepplin (Scott) of St. Marys, GA and Allen Shawgo (Cathy) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Savannah, Kristen (Alex), Hannah, Ally and Madison; and his sister Billie Huskins (Bruce). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
