He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gasser and Jane Becker Gasser; and his brother-in-law Ed West. He is survived by: his wife Susan L. Stear; his children, Benjamin Gasser (Renee) of Tremont, Matthew Gasser of Washington and Lisa Khoury (Jihad) of Dubai, UAE.; and his siblings, Christopher Gasser (Cindy) of Washington, Linda Springer (Gail) of Tremont and Pamela West of Tremont. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be given to VFW Post 9016 in Washington.
