He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis A. Hamock and Vera N. Poole Hamock; his former wife Bertha M. Logsdon-Kile; his sister Betty Lou McMurtry; and his son-in-law Dan Kern.

He is survived by: his wife Polly Faughn; his daughters, Chris Kern of Washington, Sandy Cagle (Lonnie) of Knoxville, TN and Katherine Rowell (Steve) of Pekin; his stepchildren, Carolyn Raeuber (Richard) of Mackinaw, Dianna Faughn of Mackinaw, David Faughn of Mackinaw and Dale Faughn (Lori) of Mackinaw; his siblings, Esther Jeffries of Rockville, IN, Rex Hamock (Ruth) of KoKomo, IN and Max Hamock (Thelma); and his brother-in-law Wayne McMurtry of Rockville, IN.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, 11 step great-grandchildren.
