It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise (Hasty) Abbott of Mackinaw, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Allen and Rosa Bright Allen; her spouse Dale Abbott; her children, Patsy VanDyke and Alan Hasty; her granddaughter Dawn Holloway; and her siblings, Annabelle Schmidgall, Tootie Stonestreet, Robert Allen and Willis "Ki" Allen Jr. (Louise).
She is survived by: her former husband Lyle Hasty; her son Robert Hasty (Rita Pulling) of Lacon; her sisters, Rosie Henry of Arizona, Delores Weishaupt of Arizona and Kathy Streit of Eureka; and her daughter-in-law Laurie Hasty of Morton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mackinaw Rescue or Peoria Rescue Ministries.
