It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Evelyn Greer of Mackinaw, Illinois, born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Riley and Goldie Riley (Hull); her husband Ted; her siblings, Lester Riley, June Barrick and Alma Barrick Wilson; her granddaughter Jessalyn Conn; and her great grandchild Elijah DeRubeis.
She is survived by: her children, Linda DeRubeis of Bloomington, IL, Jim Greer (Beth) of Newburgh and Roger Greer (Roxie) of Pekin, IL.; her grandchildren, Aaron DeRubeis (Jennifer), Chris DeRubeis, Ryan Greer and Rachel Greer; her stepgrandchildren, Dorian "Michael" Moore (ReAnna) and Tami Heuring (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Deonne Greer, Weston Greer, Sidney, Savanna Schlosser, Declan and Liam DeRubeis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mackinaw Christian Church.
