He was predeceased by: his parents, Beecher Seets and Mattie Jenkins Seets; his sons, Robert and Ronald Young; his brother Raymond Seets; and his son-in-law Jim Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Helen R. Dowds; his daughters, Margaret Clayton of East Peoria, Barb Rediger (Jon) of Morton, Sherry Ropp (Earl) of Tremont and Brenda Stewart of Pekin; and his brother Dewaine Seets (Carolyn) of Fulton, MO. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; 29 great great grandchildren.
