He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gordon and Eva Mitchell Gordon; and his siblings, John Jr., Bill, Ron, Marylyn, Louise, Sue and Nancy.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Kaufman; his children, Tracy Embry (John) of Mackinaw, Shannon Killion (Allen) of Mackinaw, Marty Lynch (John) of Farmington, MO and Cory Gordon (Katie) of McLean; and his siblings, Carolyn Gordon of Bloomington, Ann Perring (Butch) of Clinton, Charles Gordon (Phyllis) of Danvers, Larry Gordon (Kathy) of Heyworth and Bob Gordon (Dorothy) of Bloomington.
