He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Schmidgall and Marie Vierling Schmidgall; his wife Victoria T. Miller; and his sister Velma Schmidgall. He is survived by: his sons, Collin N. Schmidgall of Mackinaw and Wade D. Schmidgall (Lee Ann) of Mackinaw; his grandchildren, Katherine of Mackinaw, Nathan of Mackinaw and Chelsey Schmidgall of Mackinaw; and his sisters, Mildred Bennett (Jim) of Minier and Lucile Morr (Larry) of Tremont.
