We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 70, Rita A. Lundstrum of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Marge Johnson (Olson); her siblings, Michael Johnson and Susan Shotliff; her nephew Brian White; and her niece Erin White.

She is survived by: her father Desmond Johnson; her children, Jacob Brogan (Gina) and Jody Brogan; her grandchildren, Hannah Sadewater (Kyle) and Alex Brogan (Emma Tetzlaff); her great grandchildren, Kyle Sadewater, Jr. and Maci Sadewater; her sisters, Joan White (William), Lynn Friedland, Julie Linhart (Chris) and Sue Law; and her nieces and nephews, Eric White, Matthew White (Gina), Neil White, Katie Sweet (Charlie) and Rebecca Shotliff.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Honquest Family Funeral Home-Loves Park Chapel (4311 N Mulford Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
