He was predeceased by: his parents, Ortho Cropp and Kathleen Cropp (Beetle); his wife Ann M. Ritter; his son Dino Cropp; and his siblings, Vince Cropp, Lois, Evelyn, Betty, Juanita and Cathy.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Cropp (Don Naker); his brother Ron Cropp (Barb); his brother-in-law Wayne Gabel; his niece Mary Nichols (Paul Harrington); and his pets, Peanut and Marley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Mulford (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery - Winnebago/Rockford (8616 W State Rd, Winnebago, IL 61088).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rockford Rescue Mission.
