She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hanson and Vada Hanson; her husband Coy Weldon Nipps; and her siblings, Elizabeth Hanson and Jack Hanson.
She is survived by: her children, Gwen Holley, Terry Nipps and Philip Nipps; her grandchildren, Melissa Montgomery (Brandon), Eric Holley, Alan McCracken-Nipps (Anna) and Serena Laponsie (Andy); and her great grandchildren, Isabel, Ethan and Hailey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (8800 N Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Association.
