The passing of LaVerne Buske of Machesney Park, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 91. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Buske and Marjorie Buske (Brinker); his wife Marilyn Townsend; his grandchildren, Nicole and Curtis; his son-in-law Fred Anderson; and his brother Randy Buske.
He is survived by: his daughters, Edie Anderson (Richard Clark) of Machesney Park, Cherie Lyon of Rockford and Christie Cardenas (Ernesto); his grandchildren, Eric Anderson (Amy), Jesse Anderson, Jonathon Reed (Kristin), Mark Lyon (Mallory), James Lyon, David Foster (Susan) and Kyle Cardenas; and his sister Linda Sweet of Shannon. He is also survived by his 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home (249 N Park St, Stockton, IL 61085). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established.
