She is survived by: her husband Richard Bartels; her brothers, Scott Riggs (Laura) and Steve Nelson (Eva); her children, Heidi Fabert (Don), Hans Schumacher (Mindy), Zach, Emily Fabert and Grace Schumacher; and her close friend Kristy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Riverside Community Church (6816 N 2nd St, Machesney Park, IL 61115).
