Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kitty Johnson of Machesney Park, Illinois, born in Cincinnati, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 99, on December 21, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Rowland and Dolly Rowland-West (Harris); her husband Pete; her daughter Kathleen; her son-in-law Harold "Gene" Merchant; and her siblings, Abe Rowland and Lois Petty.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jennifer Hazlewood (John) and Alan Merchant (Angie Ibarra); and her pet Poppy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
