June Deets Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June Deets of Machesney Park, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Struven and Lucille Struven (Simons); her former husband George Welch; and her daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Koenig and Regina "Tina" Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband Ron; her daughters, Rachel Jaspers (Paul) of Greenville, SC and Ruth Brick (Nathan) of North Port, FL; her grandchildren, Eric Silver, Nichole Windsor, II (Michael), Joy Boddeda (Raj), Stephanie Farrell (Chris), Elizabeth Eshbach (Zachary) and Andrew Brick; her great grandchildren, Michael "Trey" Windsor, III, Alexi Farrell, Nicholas Windsor, Alana Farrell, Eliza Windsor, Hayden Eshbach, Hudson Eshbach, Priya Boddeda, Layla Boddeda, Zander Farrell and Desi Farrell; and her siblings, Florence Bain (Bud), Robert Struven (Joyce) and Paul Struven. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Windsor Baptist Church (1115 Windsor Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (8800 N Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115).
