He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shreve and Lavina Shreve (Hughes); and his great grandchildren, Tinsley Shreve and Roland Shreve. He is survived by: his wife Mary Rafferty; his children, Kelly Rink (Scott), Jerry Shreve Jr. (Teresa) and Michelle Derry (Jackie, Jr.); his grandchildren, Angela Lask (Mitch), Mitchell Shreve (Rachel), Mason Shreve (Samantha), Alexandra Derry and Jackie Derry III (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Abigail, Elsie Lask, Emmitt, Finnley Shreve and Anastasia Derry; and his brother Donald Shreve (Margi). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
