Jean E. Lage Obituary
In loving memory of Jean E. Lage of Machesney Park, Illinois, who departed this world on March 7, 2025 at the age of 78. Jean leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillys Burke and Loleta Burke (Slayton); her stepfather Lyle Severing; and her siblings, Phillip H. Burke, Virginia Snyder and Lois James.
She is survived by: her children, Cira Burke and Steve Tallyn (Cheryll); her grandchildren, Justin Pluff (Jennifer), Miranda Redmond (Eric), Emma Tallyn and Sam Tallyn; her great grandchildren, Mataya Pluff, Amara and Gianna Redmond; and her sister Sonya Henery. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Honquest Family Funeral Home-Loves Park Chapel (4311 N Mulford Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
