He was predeceased by: his brother Glenn; and his parents, Jim and Alice. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet, Kathy, Debbie, Doreen, Shirley, Bonnie, Patty, Barbara, Donna, Sandra, Brenda, Gary, Wesley, Fred, Betty Jo and Bob. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Fred wanted donations sent to his favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
