He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Speiser and Gladys Speiser (Beadle); his grandson Richard Speiser; his brother Darrell Speiser (Anna); his son-in-law Douglas Riley; and his sister-in-law Sharon Darnell.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Young; his daughters, Nancy and Kathryn; his grandchildren, Candy Doyle (Chris), Zachary Speiser (Roxanna Garrett), Alex and Autumn Speiser; and his siblings-in-law, Earl Young (Doris), Kenneth Young (Diane), Joseph Young (Linda), David Young (Judy) and Beverly Barclay (Duane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
